Arthur Simonini began studying violin at the age of 5. After a classical course, he completed his musical training by studying orchestration and writing at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where he won the harmony and counterpoint prizes. Driven by his curiosity, he also immersed himself in jazz and obtained a degree in ... General physics.
Between 2002 and 2005, he participated in numerous classical music concerts and recorded, as a soloist, Georges Delerue's Concerto de l'Adieu with the Oya Kephalé ensemble. Since then, he has divided his time between live and studio. He has given more than 300 concerts on 5 continents and participated in about fifty albums in very eclectic contexts ranging from jazz to classical, hip-hop, world music and improvised music with Bibi Tanga & the Selenites, Para One, Léonie Pernet, Professor Inlassable, Adrien Soleiman, Houria Aïchi, Annika & the Forest... Driven by the emulation of group play as much as by the solitary composition, Arthur Simonini distinguishes himself by a very personal touch. This versatile, multi-instrumentalist musician and expert of computer creation tools has also composed numerous pieces for advertising (SNCF, Cartier, Playstation, Twinnings, etc.), theatre and TV/Radio packaging, including the credits of "Affaires sensibles", well known to France Inter listeners. Arthur Simonini composes, orchestrates and produces today for Film and Series. It is featured in Celine Sciamma's new film "Portrait de La Jeune Fille En Feu", which won the screenplay award at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. This unique music, written in collaboration with Jean-Baptiste de Laubier, confirms a real talent for composition and production that can be used in the most demanding projects. |
