Arthur Simonini commence l’étude du violon à l’âge de 5 ans. Après un cursus classique, il complète sa formation de musicien en étudiant l’orchestration et l’écriture au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris où il obtient les prix d’harmonie et de contrepoint. Poussé par une curiosité insatiable, il se plonge dans de le Jazz et obtient une licence ... de Physique Générale !
Entre 2002 et 2005, il participe à de nombreux concerts de musique classique et enregistre, en qualité de soliste, le Concerto de l’Adieu de Georges Delerue avec l’ensemble Oya Kephalé. Depuis, il partage sa vie artistique entre la scène et le studio, donnant plus de 300 concerts à travers le monde et participant à une cinquantaine d’albums dans des contextes très éclectiques allant du Jazz au Classique en passant par le Hip-hop, les Musiques du Monde et les musiques improvisées. Il collabore avec Bibi Tanga & the Selenites, Para One, Léonie Pernet, le Professeur Inlassable, Adrien Soleiman, Houria Aïchi, Annika & the Forest … Porté par l’émulation du jeu en groupe autant que par la composition en solitaire, Arthur Simonini se distingue par une touche très personnelle. Ce musicien polyvalent, multi-instrumentiste et connaisseur des outils de création informatiques a également composé de nombreuses musiques pour la publicité (SNCF, Cartier, Playstation, Twinnings…), le Théâtre et l'habillage TV/Radio, dont le générique d’« Affaires Sensibles », bien connu des auditeurs de France Inter. En 2019, Arthur Simonini est à l’affiche du film de Céline Sciamma Portrait de la jeune fille en feu, Prix du Scénario du Festival de Cannes. Cette musique singulière, écrite en collaboration avec Jean-Baptiste de Laubier, confirme un réel talent de composition et de production propre à habiter les projets les plus exigeants. Il composera la musique originale de plusieurs séries remarquées telles que Vampires (Netflix), puis Bardot et Fortune de France, deux mini-séries réalisées par Christopher Thompson pour France TV. Pour le cinéma, il signera entre autres la partition des films À l'Ombre des Filles d'Étienne Comar, La Hija de Todas las Rabias de Laura Baumeister de Montis, Pourquoi Tu Souris (2024) de Christine Paillard et Chad Chenouga, sans oublier les musiques additionnelles des longs métrages À Plein Temps d'Éric Gravel et Bâtiment 5 de Ladj Ly. |

Arthur Simonini began studying violin at the age of 5. After a classical course, he completed his musical training by studying orchestration and writing at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where he won the harmony and counterpoint prizes. Driven by his curiosity, he also immersed himself in jazz and obtained a degree in ... General physics.
Between 2002 and 2005, he participated in numerous classical music concerts and recorded, as a soloist, Georges Delerue's Concerto de l'Adieu with the Oya Kephalé ensemble.
Since then, he has divided his time between live and studio. He has given more than 300 concerts on 5 continents and participated in about fifty albums in very eclectic contexts ranging from jazz to classical, hip-hop, world music and improvised music with Bibi Tanga & the Selenites, Para One, Léonie Pernet, Professor Inlassable, Adrien Soleiman, Houria Aïchi, Annika & the Forest...
Driven by the emulation of group play as much as by the solitary composition, Arthur Simonini distinguishes himself by a very personal touch. This versatile, multi-instrumentalist musician and expert of computer creation tools has also composed numerous pieces for advertising (SNCF, Cartier, Playstation, Twinnings, etc.), theatre and TV/Radio packaging, including the credits of "Affaires sensibles", well known to France Inter listeners.

It is featured in Celine Sciamma's new film Portrait de La Jeune Fille En Feu, which won the screenplay award at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. This unique music, written in collaboration with Jean-Baptiste de Laubier, confirms a real talent for composition and production that can be used in the most demanding projects. He composed the original music for several acclaimed series, including Vampires (Netflix), then Bardot (2022) and Fortune de France (2023), two mini-series directed by Christopher Thompson for France TV.
